Bridging Innovation and Sustainability
We were honoured to host a productive discussion on 26 June 2026 with the UMS research team led by Dr. Muhammad Dawood Shah on exploring innovative solutions for the palm oil industry.
The meeting focused on:
- Oil extraction from mesocarp fibre and empty fruit bunch (EFB)
- Converting palm oil mill by-products into fish feed to support the growth of the aquaculture industry
- Strengthening collaboration between industry and academia to unlock greater value from agricultural waste through research and innovation.
By transforming waste into valuable resources, we are taking another step towards a more sustainable, circular, and value-driven palm oil industry.
