Strengthening Environmental Compliance and Sustainability
We were pleased to take part in the Environmental Symposium 2026, held from 1–2 July 2026, where our team joined industry players, consultants, and government agencies to advance environmental sustainability, as recommended by the Department of Environment (DOE).
The symposium focused on several key areas:
- Strengthening compliance with environmental regulations, including the Environmental Quality Act 1974, Clean Air Regulations 2014, and Scheduled Waste Management requirements
- Appointing Competent Persons and using Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) as tools for long-term environmental risk management
- Adopting advanced effluent treatment, pollution prevention, and digital monitoring technologies
- Embracing sustainability and ESG practices through waste minimization and energy efficiency By deepening our knowledge and compliance standards, we continue our commitment to responsible operations and a more sustainable, value-driven palm oil industry.
